Gillian, who is a Volunteer Community Councillor for Clarkston Community Council, was "thrilled to win" having been introduced to the BetterPoints app around a year ago by a friend - who told her there are always prize draws and rewards for being more active. When finally, Gillian won something, it made all that walking and running pay off:
"I'm really pleased to have won this monthly draw for keeping active!" she told me.
Gillian is a mum to two children and also has a dog, so as you can imagine leads a very busy lifestyle. In addition to this she volunteers for the Clarkston Community Council which supports the local area and reviews youth and community initiatives, policing and planning applications. From walking the children to school, taking the dog on some lovely local walks and keeping active by running, Gillian has already racked up a decent amount of points. Winning the points in the monthly prize draw has added to them, so that when she's finally decided on what she'd like to treat herself with, they'll be plenty of options to choose from in the app.
